Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or using our hire equipment and services. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to comply with the terms outlined below. These conditions are in place to ensure the safety of all users, protect hired equipment, and help provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for every customer.

EVENT HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Soft Play • Bounce House • Bubble Igloo Hire

1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions:

  • “Company” refers to the hire provider.

  • “Customer” refers to the individual or organisation hiring the equipment.

  • “Equipment” refers to all hired items including soft play equipment, bounce houses, inflatables, bubble igloos, ball pits, blowers, mats, accessories, electrical equipment, décor items, and any additional hire items.

  • “Hire Period” refers to the agreed duration between delivery/setup and collection.

 

2. Booking & Payments

2.1 Bookings are confirmed only once the required deposit or full payment has been received.

2.2 Deposits are non-refundable unless the Company cancels the booking.

2.3 Full payment must be made before or on the agreed event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse delivery or setup if payment has not been received.

2.5 Additional charges may apply for:

  • Extra hire time

  • Excessive cleaning

  • Damages or missing items

  • Delayed collections

  • Incorrect venue information

 

3. Delivery, Setup & Collection

3.1 The Customer must ensure safe and suitable access for delivery and collection.

3.2 Delivery and collection times are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

3.3 A responsible adult aged 18 or over must be present during delivery, setup, and collection.

3.4 All equipment must be ready for collection at the agreed time.

3.5 Additional charges may apply if collection is delayed due to customer unavailability or inaccessible equipment.

3.6 Only Company staff are authorised to install, move, dismantle, or adjust equipment.

 

4. Venue & Setup Area Requirements

4.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring the setup area is:

  • Flat and level

  • Clean and dry

  • Safe and hazard-free

  • Large enough for the equipment

  • Free from sharp objects

  • Away from open flames or heat sources

4.2 Outdoor setups are subject to weather conditions and safety checks.

4.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse setup if the area is unsafe or unsuitable.

4.4 The Customer must provide access to a suitable and safe power source where required.

 

5. General Safety Rules

5.1 Adult supervision is always required while the equipment is in use.

5.2 Users must always behave safely and appropriately.

5.3 The following are not permitted on or near the equipment:

  • Shoes

  • Food or drinks

  • Chewing gum

  • Face paint

  • Slime

  • Glitter

  • Confetti

  • Sharp objects

  • Smoking materials

  • Pets

5.4 Users should remove shoes, jewellery, badges, and sharp accessories before using equipment.

5.5 Sick or unwell individuals should not use the equipment.

5.6 No rough play, pushing, wrestling, climbing, flips, somersaults, or dangerous behaviour is permitted.

 

6. Soft Play Terms

6.1 Soft play equipment is intended for young children only unless otherwise advised.

6.2 Ball pit balls must not be thrown excessively, removed from the play area, or damaged.

6.3 Children must not climb or stand on soft play shapes, barriers, or stacked equipment.

6.4 Shoes must be removed and socks worn at all times.

 

7. Bounce House / Inflatable Terms

7.1 Blowers and electrical equipment must remain switched on and unobstructed while inflatables are in use.

7.2 Maximum user capacity and age limits must not be exceeded.

7.3 Children must enter and exit safely under supervision.

7.4 Climbing, hanging, or sitting on inflatable walls or netting is prohibited.

7.5 If the inflatable begins to deflate, all users must exit immediately.

 

8. Bubble Igloo Terms

8.1 The blower system must remain connected and operational at all times.

8.2 The structure, seams, anchoring points, and zips must not be tampered with.

8.3 No candles, heaters, smoking, fireworks, or naked flames are permitted near the bubble igloo.

8.4 The maximum occupancy limit must not be exceeded.

8.5 The bubble igloo must not be used in unsafe weather conditions.

 

9. Weather Policy

9.1 Outdoor equipment use is subject to safe weather conditions.

9.2 Equipment must not be used during:

  • Strong winds

  • Heavy rain

  • Thunderstorms

  • Extreme weather conditions

9.3 The Company reserves the right to cancel or stop use of equipment due to safety concerns.

9.4 Equipment must be vacated immediately if unsafe weather conditions occur.

 

10. Equipment Care & Damage

10.1 The Customer accepts full responsibility for the equipment during the hire period.

10.2 The Customer is responsible for:

  • Damage

  • Theft

  • Loss

  • Stains

  • Punctures

  • Excessive dirt

  • Missing items

10.3 Any damage or faults must be reported immediately.

10.4 Excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.

10.5 Irreparable or missing items may be charged at full replacement value.

 

11. Electrical Equipment

11.1 Electrical equipment must not be unplugged, tampered with, or exposed to water.

11.2 Extension leads and cables must remain safely positioned and unobstructed.

11.3 Generators must not be used unless approved by the Company.

 

12. Liability & Responsibility

12.1 All persons using the equipment do so entirely at their own risk.

12.2 The Company accepts no responsibility for:

  • Injuries or accidents

  • Misuse of equipment

  • Lack of supervision

  • Failure to follow safety rules

  • Weather-related incidents after setup

  • Damage to customer property

12.3 The Customer accepts full responsibility for all guests and users during the hire period.

 

13. Cancellations & Refunds

13.1 Deposits are non-refundable.

13.2 Cancellations within 7 days of the event may be charged in full.

13.3 If the Company cancels due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date or refund may be offered.

13.4 Refunds are issued at the Company’s discretion.

 

14. Photography & Marketing

14.1 The Company may photograph setups for promotional or social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

 

15. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including weather conditions, road closures, accidents, illness, power outages, or other unforeseen events.

 

16. Agreement

By booking and using the equipment, the Customer confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

  • Agree to follow all safety guidance

  • Accept responsibility for the hired equipment

  • Agree to supervise all users appropriately
